Kids Drawing Competition – Feb 16th ’25
Information about the event
- Drawing competition is open to children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade and will be conducted at the temple library.
- The theme for the contest is drawing/painting that relates to Shirdi Sai Temple of Atlanta.
- Tables, chairs, and drawing paper (11×14) will be provided by the Temple.
- Participants are required to bring their own crayons, watercolors, and a clipboard.
- During the conduct of the competition no other persons, except members from the organizing team are allowed to be with students.
- All participants will receive certificates, and trophies will be awarded to the winners.

- Limited slots are available for each competition, to participate you must complete the registration.
- Competitions are being organized by NASSTA Executive Committee (EC) team. All rights are reserved by EC team. In case of any dispute, NASSTA EC team’s decision is final.
- Registered participants will be informed of the organizer’s decisions through email or website only.
- All expenses related to participation, travel, lodging and boarding are borne by the participants and organizers are NOT responsible for any of the above mentioned expenses.

Kids Singing Competition – Feb 22nd – Mar 8th ’25
Information about the event
- The singing competition is open to children in the age group 9-14 years and will be conducted in 3 rounds (audition, semi-finals and finals) at the temple library.
- Age Categories:
- Child (6 to 9 years)
- Junior (10 to 14 years)
- Participants can choose to sing any devotional song from any Indian language.
- Total length of the song should not exceed 2-3 minutes.
- Please note that the judges can stop at anytime during the performance, as they can assess the child’s capability within a reasonable amount of time.
- Participants will have to avoid indecent or obscene lyrics.
- Karaoke tracks should NOT be used for Audition round. Only tambura or some form of drone for Sruti can be used.
- Judging will be based on Sruthi, Laya and Diction. A select number of participants in each category will advance to the Semi-Final round.
- This round is for those promoted through the selection process.
- Further details will be communicated by email to the participants promoted to the next round.
- The judges will score the this round entries using the same criteria as the audition round.
- More emphasis will be given to expression, complexity of the song and the ease with which the singer is
- Selected number of participants in each category will be promoted to the final Round.
- Further information will be sent to the finalists. A winner will be selected from each of the categories.
All participants will receive certificates, and trophies to the winners.

Construction 2023-2024
With the divine blessing of Sai baba the North American Shirdi Sai Temple of Atlanta (NASSTA) has been serving the community since 2002. Temple is planning to add the following structures to not only improve the physical infrastructure but also enhance the spiritual and communal experience for devotees. It allows the temple to continue its mission of promoting the teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba, including love for all, forgiveness, charity, and inner peace, among others. This expansion reflects the dedication of the temple to its community and the preservation of Sai Baba’s legacy.
